The Centerville City Council has decided to proceed with a city-wide curbside recycling program. The program will be city-wide it will not be mandatory.
At the March 17, 2009 City Council meeting at 8:00 pm, the City Council will again accept public comment on if and how the City should proceed with a city-wide curbside recycling program. The meeting will be held in the City Council room, 250 North Main.
The Green Waste program is in the process of being implemented. Cans have now been ordered and we are waiting on a delivery time to start the program. Those that have signed up for the program, will receive additional information when cans are delivered. This should be in July. This is an ongoing program in the City. You may sign up at any time. We encourage residents to sign up soon as we initiate the service.
