E.1. Minutes Review and Acceptance– The minutes to be reviewed are enclosed
E.2. Summary Action Calendar
a. Request from local Rotary Club– The Centerville Farmington Rotary Club is again requesting use of Freedom Hills Park for their annual “10-K Trail Run” to help raise money for the Freedom Memorial at that park.
b. Public Safety Retirement Issues– Because of retirement legislation passed this past session by the Legislature, it is necessary to amend the City’s Retirement Contribution Plan Agreement for Police Chief Neal Worsley and also approve a contribution into an alternative retirement plan for newly hired police officer Brad King
c. URMMA Uninsured/Underinsured Coverage Waiver– The Legislature changed the State Code regarding uninsured/underinsured coverage limits. URMMA, the City’s risk insurance carrier, recommends the City select the minimum coverage and authorize the Mayor to sign the waiver, which is enclosed.
E.3. Legacy Crossing Mixed-Use Development– On June 28, The Planning Commission discussed and recommended for approval to the City Council (1) a rezone of two parcels (one from I-VH to C-VH and the second from I-H to C-VH). (2) A Zoning Code text amendment was also recommended for approval, which defines maximum units per building in the PDO Districts for Commercial Planned Development, and (3) a rezone was recommended of property zoned C-VH to C-VH/PDO (Commercial-Very High/Planned Development Overlay) for the Legacy Crossing project. Council may want to refer to the June 28 PC backup for further details.
E.4. Industrial Revenue Bonds – The Council will consider a resolution of intent to issue Industrial Revenue Bonds and set a date for a public hearing (August 3rd) re: the bonds, which can be used to assist with the financing of the Legacy Crossing project
E.5. Request from Parks Committee – Steven Blais, Chairman of the Parks and Recreation Committee has requested the Council consider allowing the Centerville Baseball Program to solicit advertising on the baseball fields from potential sponsors to help raise money for the baseball program. Steven Blais will be in attendance at the meeting to discuss his proposal.
E.6. Mayor’s Report – The Mayor will likely have a few items to report, including discussion of Alcohol Licensure Reform, proposed by the Utah League of Cities and Towns, which he emailed to the Council and which a copy is enclosed in the packet.
E.7. City Manager’s Report– I may have a few items to report.
E.8. Miscellaneous Business– An updated Emergency Management Calendar is enclosed, outlining recommended training for the City Council
E.9. Closed Meeting, if necessary– I am not aware of a need for a closed meeting at this time, but it is on the agenda in case a need arises.

Meetings of the City Council of Centerville City may be conducted via electronic means pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 52-4-207, as amended. In such circumstances, contact will be established and maintained via electronic means and the meeting will be conducted pursuant to the Electronic Meetings Policy established by the City Council for electronic meetings.
Centerville City, in compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, provides accommodations and auxiliary communicative aids and services for all those citizens in need of assistance, including hearing devices.
