Main Street's future is the focus of three different studies by UDOT, UTA and Centerville City. Public meetings are scheduled for each study in April.
The three studies will focus on different aspects of Main Street's future
The April 11th Open house is a UDOT planning project.
Main street is a road owned and maintained by UDOT. They are asking for the public's opinion on future road alignment, traffic, safety, etc.
The April 17 Open house is a UDOT/UTA project. This project will focus on transportation routes that includes Main street, and also other potential transportation routes and types of future transportation linking Centerville and neighboring cities.
The April 18 Main Street Corridor Planning Project is a Centerville City project. This project will place emphasis on the traditionally commercial district from Pages to Parrish. This study will not focus on transportation, but study future land uses, building design etc. Additional open houses will be scheduled in May for this project.
