On June 19, 2007 the City Council adopted the FY 2008 budget

On June 19, 2007 the City Council adopted the budget for the Fiscal Year 2007/2008 (July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008).  Although the budget anticipates significant new revenue, there are no increase in fees or taxes.  In fact the "Certified Rate", the rate collected for the City from property taxes, continues to decrease.  The new rate decreased from .001349 to .001233, a 8.58% decrease.
