Public Hearing Notices: Public Hearing - Code Text Amend., allow chickens/rabbits in R-L Zones

Notice is hereby given that the Centerville City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 9, 2009, beginning at 7:00 p.m., or as soon as the matter may be heard, in the City Council Chambers at the Centerville City Hall Building, 250 North Main Street, Centerville, to consider changes to Chapter 12-36, Table of Uses Allowed, to allow “Animals and fowl for recreation and family food production (chickens/rabbits)” in the agricultural-low (A-L) and residential-low (R-L) Zones, as a permitted use; and Section 12-32-040(b)(i), establishing family food production as an accessory use in the A-L and R-L Zones; and Section 12-55-240, implementing additional regulations for “Animals and Fowl for Recreation and Family Food Production.”

The Centerville City Council will hold a public hearing on this matter on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, beginning at 7:00 p.m., or as soon as the matter may be heard, in the City Council Chambers at the Centerville City Hall Building, 250 North Main Street, Centerville.
