The proposed Foothills Management Plan would establish a comprehensive guide to future physical land use patterns within the foothills of Centerville City. The Foothills Management Area is currently defined as any lands that are located at or below 5200 feet in elevation (i.e. above mean sea level) to just below the Weber Basin Aqueduct (along the edges of existing development as of 2010).  There are twelve (12) guiding statements that were developed through input from a citizen oversight committee. These guiding statements were used to help direct the drafting of the Foothills Management Plan. If adopted by the City, all decisions regarding annexation, development, or use of land within the management area would be subject to the policies, directives, and other recommendations as outlined in the management plan or other related policies and regulations adopted by the City.

The City Council created an "Oversight Steering Commitee" (OSC) to review and recommend a Foothills Management Plan to begin the planning and discussion. To dowload a copy of the OSC recommended Plan, Click here.
