Forcible Sex Abuse

James D. Stokes (61) of Farmington, UT was arrested by Centerville Police Detectives on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 1400 hours at his home in Farmington for two counts of Forcible Sexual Abuse.

This case was referred to the police dept by the State of Utah Child Protective Services in July and an investigation was initiated. The victim was 14 years old at the time of occurrence and was a student of Mr. Stokes where he taught at Legacy Preparatory Academy in Woods Cross. 

Two incidents occurred about a week apart in January 2010 on the west side of Centerville on the “lower pipeline road” were Mr. Stokes sexually assaulted the victim.
