Centerville Police in collaboration with several other Wasatch Front police agencies is seeking public assistance in locating Julia Amelia Higbee, AKA Julia Herzog, a 41 year old female, for numerous property and identity fraud crimes. Agencies including Centerville, Layton, North Salt Lake, Logan, Brigham City, Salt Lake City, and Cottonwood Heights currently have active investigations into Julia Higbee’s criminal activities. Julia has three “No Bail” warrants issued for her arrest from the Second District Court and is a suspect in several other cases. Julia had a hearing for sentencing which was set in December of 2011 and failed to appear.
The Centerville Police Department is dedicated to the safety and security of its citizens and persons traveling throughout the city. In recent years, there has been an increased use of motor-assisted scooters and what are being called pocket bikes or scaled down motorcycles. While these products provide a fun and exciting means of transportation for those who are riding them, they also cause concerns regarding traffic and pedestrian safety.
