The NRCS (National Resources Conservation Service) maintains a SNOTEL (SNOwpack TELemetry) Station near the top of Parrish Canyon above Centerville. The Parrish Creek SNOTEL Site is one of 650 stations that the NRCS uses to continuously monitor the mountain snowpack and gather information to forecast water supplies.
